The ground may be good for the Oppo parties next GE despite the goodies !
But the right method you use to steal hearts will determine the count at the polls ! Only winning votes can do you good !
Good economy may only benefit 20% of the people in sinkapore, hence, you see the goodies !
80% are not hungry but very tight in their pockets but yet they can’t find out what is going wrong slogging two to three jobs a day !
You oppo parties will provide them with an answer next GE !
When you oppo parties are confident and have plans to making life better for the voters, you sure win votes !
You heard China got very robust economy, yet you see PRC mei meis are teeming the red-light areas in sinkapore not to mention hundreds of thousands make beeline for the “globalised sinkapore !”
See the word so beautifully coined---globalised ! You oppo parties should learn !
If you oppo parties contest the GE with a right attitude, the chance to win majority is not a pipe dream !
When you design plans and ideas for the voters, you oppo parties need financial facts from the present Govt to make inferences right !
You have to ask for it from the finance dept, you have to find out the incomes and expenditures of sinkapore before you can sit down and formulate. There is nothing to worry becos you only want figures to do things right !
That includes defence budget, salaries, taxes collected, etc.
You see certain depts may be over blowing taxpayer money, you can therefore adjust the figure so it benefits all voters !
Of course , I am not telling you to cancel SAF, sinkapore needs defence but not at the paranoid level right !
At war, everyone is an abject loser ! All countries at war sure suffer ! You oppo parties must educate the voters about this war subject!
Pacifism is a long term survival ! Think about it, one grain of rice is also imported , you have the nerve to give ultimatum or you sit down to sort out ? Rely on china to survive ? Look at north korea !
You oppo parties may not get all the figures to do some sums you need but at least you get a rough figure to work on, if you make a mistake, you can ask for forgiveness from the voters and tell them figures are provided by the present govt.
Be honest with the voters, don’t be afraid to make honest mistakes, if you don’t make small mistakes, how you learn to do bigger things right ! At the same time , tell the voters that everyone makes mistake , small or big, forgive and forget if possible ! Just like their children, if they accidentally break a vase or score bad marks for English, do you cane them like hell or motivate them and guide them not to commit the same mistake again ??
As long as your proposal is honest and sincere, you will win votes ! Talk about it everyday during the 9 hustings’ days !
Remember, next GE is about new proposals , new plans, and educating the voters !
Another thing, you oppo parties must educate voters about the HDB issues like in the past, buyers can put a certain deposit and pay mortgage monthly by deducting from the balance CPF ord account, you see, this system may not be perfect but if the buyer was retrenched , he or she still got money in the CPF to tie over ! Best of all, the price was right !
But at present , I think becos of the monster HDB price , buyer must use all the money in the CPF ord account to pay at one go , thus the buyer cannot stop working in order to get the CPF contributions to pay for the monthly mortgage !
If the loan is 25 years, the buyer would be reaching retirement age by the time he completes his mortgage payment ! And what happens to the CPF ord account ? May be the medisave got some money but ….you know after pumping so much of money into HDB, you are sure the house still worth so much after 25 years later ???
Ask the voters to use calculator to check how much interest they pay for the HDB house ?
Tell the voters that if they say they are oredi up the lorry by that time, better tell them to think for the children and their children
Salaries and public houses come hand in hand, if there is an imbalance which is happening like nightmares, your children and their children will suffer a lot !
Ask the voters, your children after the NS , they have to work from sun up to sun down, facing fierce competition from the Fts somemore, and just to live to earn money to pay the high- price public house, is it worth a life ? Is your child living a life ? What about their health ? You can rest in peace calling others mothers and fathers of nation, but what about your own children ?
Then what about their future to start a family ??? Their livelihood is in your hands at the polls ! Please think again !
Oppo parties, if you want to win votes, you have to face voters about the real HDB issues, be brave becos this is a fact, don’t blame the PAP !
Tell the voters loud, you are what you eat ! Sinkapore today is what you vote for, nobody can blame the present govt becos you give mandate !
Lastly, pls inform the voters that voting in sinkapore is clean when comes to counting, there is no rigging at all and it’s secret.
There is nothing to fear of when you go voting becos you are the ones who give mandate !
You voters are supposed to vote with our hearts ! Not out of fear !
You voters are the ones who decide who you want to put them in power ! You voters are the bosses not the ones you voted in ! The people you voted in are the ones who will formulate policies to benefit you first and greater good for the country !
There are no kings or queens in sinkapore ! You voters do not own anyone a living ! Power comes from the voters and nobody else !
You voters are supposed to vote for people who wants to work with you, and not work separately !
Oppo parties, please be brave to engage the voters, be frank and honest with them !
Ask them to give you oppo parties a chance to work with them humbly !
Remember the Rule number one---don’t attack PAP becos voters vote for them to becum like that , just engage the voters honestly !
Pls also remember, if you oppo parties just only want to entertain the voters hoping to win majority without anything, you will never win votes ! You have to make the voters feel responsible for what they do at the polls !
45 years on, the wrong approach by many oppo members had cost oppo parties dear ! They had given a chance but they blew it away ! What legacy had they left ?
Now that oppo parties have found the true meaning of GE , you have freed yourselves from the cage, and now you can spread your wings and fly !!!!
Just remember these words -----next GE, don’t let voters decide if you have done no homework, let them decide after you have proposed many ideas and plans that benefit the voters and their children !
In sinkapore, politics affect every aspect of the livelihood but unfortunately majority voters think politics is a game for street politicians to play ! This is a tragic story !
So think family affairs and family business, symbiotic friendship and calculated bravey !
God help you ! God help sinkapore !
