More poor in India than Africa

Why is it so after so much talking about India rising ?
Yesterday,India launched 5 satellites in one rocket which is very impressive,but why can't they deal with poverty which is the most fundamental requirements of humankind?

Any ideas?

omg u should see how the shit skins respond to these accusations. They are truly disgusting and i bet at least a few of them would have reported this as racism. It's racism to report bad news on them or their country.

there are more poor in india than africa, because the population of india is much higher, therefore there is more poor people. If only Alexander the great conquer the indian, maybe it will be a better country.

Following this line of logic and reasoning china would also have many poorer than africa but that's not the case. Can really see the stark contrast here.

there were, but some wise communist change the policy and direct the country economic with leadership from single party.

india have too much different view and lack of leadership.

so maybe in 50 years time, india have less poor people than africa, if they can get their acts together.

yeah the only way they can have less poor ppl is by killing all of them off. If not break india into smaller portions then the poor won't be listed as indians. Just imagine if the poor from pakistan and bangala land were included with india if they hadn't split off.

Kids malnourished, chronic poverty, people poop and pee like animals because no sewer system that in turn contaminates the water which they bath and drink from and renew cycle of sickness.

But all this is ok because they have DEMOCRACY! What a bunch of hot air. If have democracy then poor will demand change but year in year out same old thing. Nothing changes. The same old politicians and tycoons control all the action.

The saddest thing is they are so proud when Slum Dog Millionaire wins Oscar - nothing to be proud off at all. Film was made in real life slum!!! The wretched poverty is so sad.
