Woman left out of will sues

After they got married in 1992, Madam Chua Moi King was persuaded by Mr Tew Che Kiong, also known as Thomas Ong, to mortgage three properties and sell one to help him get bank loans and to buy a commercial unit.
In return, he promised to give her and her sons his shares in the company. The company would also repay the loans and mortgage instalments, he said. But in the end, Mr Tew, who died in 2008 of leukaemia, left nothing to her and her sons in his will. The company also stopped servicing the mortgages on the three apartments. Madam Chua, now in her 60s, has sued her late husband's estate and the private limited company CKT Thomas in the High Court.
