But the move, which would make the club in Portsdown Road better used, does not sit well with both the new members and current ones.

most Singapore Armed Forces commissioned officers are truly a joke.

Certainly there are remarkable leaders being groomed from OCS, however, the number are really small...

In my opinion, only around 10% or even lesser constitute to Gentlemen Officers, whereas most would be just WAYANG KING, KENG KING, mentality no difference from men...

What really irritates me most is that SINGAPORE's OCS don't train Officers.

It's just another kind of BMT, just extended to 9 months, and how can you expect leaders to be groomed from such environment?

I do have a recommendation;

If Singapore were to be really training REAL OFFICERS, they should really learn it from ROC, England, and USA.

ROC have Whampoa Military School, England have Sandhurst, and USA have Westpoint...

And after 3 to 4 years, each of the officer cadet will earn a DEGREE, in various faculties.

From my opinion, for the Singapore's Officer to be really world class (since Singapore is obsess with No.1 in everything), let's have a Real Military School, rather than a half fucked OCS.

If cannot afford to have a world class OCS, then convert OCS into a Specialist School, and train Seargents instead of commissioning officers.

Let those who really earn their commission be officers.

Officers with a degree, with the brains and leadership ability to lead, excel, and overcome...

Let us not train men with a officer's rank, Singapore Armed Forces is really becoming a joke.
