Default Cheap Labour Is Not Talent

Looks like the pap's main criterium for foreign talent is cheap labour.

Importing cheap labour and disguising it as foreign talent is dangerous. Employing foreign workers mainly because they are cheap but cant assimilate into Singapore society is a recipe for disaster.

The pap has to learn from its many disastrous and bad policies so far. Dont let the zeal to import cheap, unskilled and unqualified labour be another bad policy that will haunt SG in the future

The success of Singapore, is their ability to keep cost down by hiring cheap talents or real talents still cheaper than Singaporeans.

The reason why labour has to be imported is not because it is cheap. It's because foreign labour is willing to do the jobs that Singaporeans shun.

If Singaporeans weren't so damned fussy, the country wouldn't have to put up with the social problems that foreigners bring.

Imported foreign Talents can labour and survive on low low wages and eating trash.

If that is not talent then I would worry.

Sinkies should learn the value of thrift. If they spent less time thinking about flat screen TVs and mobile phones and put more effort into learning how to lead a frugal but honorable life, they'd be able to outdo foreign labour at their own game.

Simply put, most Singaporeans are spoilt brats.

Shunned because those jobs don't get you anywhere to begin with.
Too low anything below $3000 is just sub standard.

    Cannot even support a family.

Sure, if your Sinkie wife or mum can survive accept the wage of an Indonesian maid, they would not have to walk the streets of Geylang.

But then, at Geylang they'll probably won't sell because of the imported foreign competition.

So your Sinkie wife or mum maintained their chastity by default because if they cannot sell in Sinkapoor,
they should not buy a budget air ticket to sell their arse elsewhere.

If Geylang got no foreign chickens then I would worry.

Cheap Labour is still Foreign Talent. The foreigners have the natural talent of being cheap - that itself is a talent.

Eh hello! pull ur head out of ur arse and travel ard a little ok!? Many rich developed countries also have citizens who shun low end jobs and end up they have to import foreign workers to come take up those lousy jobs. They are just as fussy as Singaporeans if not more. This is the trend; as a national become more affluent, citizens are more highly educated and therefore less likely to take up low end jobs. It's just human nature not sinkapore nature u chaocheebye
