Many so-called churches keep saying, "God is love." and "God is merciful." Okay, people like Zhu hou Ren ... I supposed he contracted a disease or something and he got away from death scott free ? I don't know what he meant but I can see the sincerity of his praise to his God for that victory. If that was the case, then good for him.

There is a big difference between a real thing and a copycat. By saying that I'm mad is not going to even convince anyone who is a believer in any form of Christian faith. This have to be true, why ? If these religious nuts were to believe that God does not exist, they will have to slap themselves for having to believe what was already written in the bible in the first place.
There even more outstanding churches practicing the unbelievable thing in the USA. There is no way you are to convince anyone especially believers when they have seen what was practiced in ACCORDANCE to the bible scriptures.

As a Christian, I really don't know what you knew thus far. In any event, that's not important to me (and I believe to many other Christians) .....keeping knowing what you want to know but remember the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God.

What did Jesus come on earth to do? that is a very important question.this is from a guy who tried to get the english translation of what Jesus taught in Aramaic which was very close to modern Hebrew n Arabic.... Jesus was really trying to bring ppl to submit to the ALMIGHTY CREATOR...and not to change their traditions.. watch and be rightly guided. peace

What Christians who are true believers of the God of the Bible disagree is that there are certain so-called 'scientiific discoveries' to approve, among other things, evolution, God doesn't exist, humans are mere by-products of primates. We reject those because by simply applying common knowledge of science, we can come to a firm conclusion and understanding that these cannot happen without a proper Designer. Quite to the contrary, if I may use the same term you have used, people like you really reject science and allow some of these so-called scientists like Charles Darwin to fool you. I can accept that Charles Darwin may be one of the best cartoonists who drew those wonderful pictures of the wildlife and in particular the 'Family Tree of Evolution' but certainly not his so-called scientific discoveries that support evolution. Just look at the order of nature, one can see that all the things that appeared in the natural world cannot be made without a Designer.

This week our nation mourns the death of our Dear Founding Father, the Late Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. Like all famous (or infamous) historical figures, there will be outpouring of praises detailing all the good things the Late Mr. Lee has done for Singapore over the 50 years but sadly, at the same time, there will be people going to say not so good things. But one thing we must remind ourselves - without him, where would Singapore be? You be the judge but if I were to answer this question, I will say, we would not be where we are today: peace, prosperity, harmony, etc....etc...that are admired even by the most advanced countries in the world.
As there are far too many achievements that he has done for us to remember, perhaps, the least we could do is to remember the date, time of his death and age of his death.
