    Chinese State Councillor Liu Yandong called on Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew at the Istana yesterday.
    Madam Liu, the top-ranked woman in the Chinese government and the Communist Party of China, arrived on Thursday for a four-day visit.
    She is accompanied by a 20-member delegation. She also met Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, and witnessed the signing of a new bilateral education cooperation pact.
