The body of a man believed to be that of hiker Steward Lee was found at the top level of a multi-storey carpark in Bukit Panjang on Monday evening (20 Feb), police said.

Lee had been missing since 17 February.

Police were alerted to the body at the carpark located at Blk 468A Segar Road at 6.52pm. “The man was pronounced dead by paramedics at scene. Based on preliminary investigation, the deceased is believed to be the 27-year-old man who was reported missing since last Friday,” said a police statement. The New Paper reported that the body was found hanging at the multi-storey carpark.

Lee was last seen at around 2pm last Friday at Block 407 Fajar Road.

His disappearance sparked a massive search operation involving more than 70 people, according to media reports. Searchers including police officers, park rangers and volunteers looked in areas Lee visited frequently such as the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, the rail corridor, Zhenghua Park as well as the Dairy Farm and Singapore quarry area.

The police have classified the case as unnatural death and investigations are ongoing.

it means top levels of parking structures in sg are seldom used or occupied, which means sg has an over-supply of parking spots. the high density of vehicles yet high availability of parking spots put several 1st world cuntries and cities to shame, thanks to the pap.

At least he don't have to worry about soaring carbon and water rates. Plus no need to file tax with IRAS anymore.
