A PRC, Chiang Zhao Xiang who is employed as an executive in the Social Service Centre, Tembusu Destitute Home got caught for stealing $220,000
from seven residents of over S$220,000 from their life savings between May 2014 and Jan 2015. Full story:

Tembusu sounds like unlucky name.

I remember jurong island also have one tembusu. Scene where an oil tank burned to the ground.

My understanding is that the law wouldn't be making much effort to enforce restitution to the cheated victims. Hence, once the cheat leaves prison, his ill-gotten wealth is his to keep, if he hasn't already spent it. It seems to be like that for all the cheating cases.
