We are used to lived under a strong leader like LKY!

Everyone in Singapore aspire to be as strong as LKY!

So we should all stand up for Singapore!

But Ah Loong foreign policy is as weak as a mice!

I feel so uncomfortable living under a weak leadership!

The reason LKY became PM was because he was Lee Kuan Yew.

The reason LHL became PM was because his daddy was Lee Kuan Yew.

Honestly, LKY was the only real politician to have walked in Singapore. He was sharp, alert, aggressive, cross him, and you're in deep shit, if you can swim. LHL on the other hand was a rich kid with an easy life. Even when he was climbing within the PAP, he faced absolutely no opposition or challenge to the position. The positon was made for him, And the other members of the party (with the exception of his daddy) are wimpy yes-men. Not one member dared speak his/her mind. And Singaporeans think they have a good team of "leaders!" Blinded by the press.

Wake up people. This is a democratic nation. You pick who governs you. There is no reason why members of the other parties should not be given the chance to form the government.

A silly notion. Do you get to pick who your father mother? Or course not. Democracy is but a sweet lie. Things simply cannot work that way here. Whoever governs Singapore must have that iron in him, or give it up! :mad:

THE definition of democracy in poitics is that the electorate gets a chance to select who represents them in parliament. In this, Singaporeans have repeatedly shown that they want the PAP to take that role. Despite the high literacy rate of the citizens, it is clear they only want the PAP to be the government. This has repeated itself since elections were around in Singapore. The PAP has a style Singaporeans know only too well, and seem to like it. The mandate is given at every election.
