Similarity: Israel and Singapore want to stand up to their adversaries

Differences:
1. Israeli leaders are excellent. Singapore leaders are mediocre
2. Israeli PM speaks with conviction. Singaporean's PM cracks idiotic jokes
3. Netanahyu looks dignified. LHL looks like a clown
4. Israeli Govt defends their citizens. SG govt favours foreigners over SG citizens

Middles east countries are trying to suppress them which i see as to keep balance.

I don't know about war but he certainly wants to stir up anger and alarm in our country. He is likely a foreigner with a job to destabilise us and bring morale down. He does have ignorant supporters here but it is my hope that the neutrals and 'lurkers' who read these threads will see through his mischief and disregard his provocative posts.

Similarities - both were outstanding in their military career. Though Pinky Lee became General. Benjamin only a lowly captain.

Differences - Pinky Lee draws multi million dollars salary. Benjamin draws pauper pay.

Singapore SAF does not take in Malays to serve in certain departments.

Israel takes in Arabs and Palestinians (Druze) to serve in the IDF.

Today there are 6 Druze Brigadier Generals and many Colonels in the IDF.

Maybe the pay is good. Makes sense if you are poor, to join the army.

Netanyahu....became a team leader in the Sayeret Matkal special forces unit....took part in many missions.... during which he was shot in the shoulder. Netanyahu fought on the front lines in the War of Attrition/the Yom Kippur War ...taking part in special forces raids along the Suez Canal, and then leading a commando assault deep into Syrian territory....Netanyahu achieved the rank of captain before being discharged

He parachuted his brother to head the most valuable listing in SGX called Singtel. He asked his wife to lead the elite troops in Temasek Sovereign fund while he asked his father to provide air cover for the other sovereign fund by chairing it. The last notable achievement was to bring his wife to the US state visit in clothes and sandals that can be best classified as a acute visual assault with crippling effects on those who saw it.
