Trump is a person trained and tested in the real business world, over fifty years of experience, where he is responsible for his decisions, successes or failures. When he got into problems, he has no choice but to think and act his way out of the problems. The bucks stop with him as far as his businesses are concerned.

Much as I dislike Trump, I have to agree - up to a point. Trump also had a rich dad to bail him out. That's where his confidence comes from. He is also unscrupulous but then again, he is a businessmen and politicians are generally no better.
Trump actually knows nothing, but I think he can fumble his way through 4 years without starting WW 3. He probably learns quickly, no mean feat for a 70 year old.

If we take a top of the mountain view, now that USA has a incoming President who wants economic isolationism and divorce from global conflicts, it is not a completely wrong or difficult strategy to comprehend. In actuality, this is what the people want and what the country needs at the moment.
Don't forget, amerigo is one fuckard cuntry that has been extorting money all over the world from everyone through their persuasive and or often violently force of might for the acceptance of the usd as a reserve currency, aka petro dollars. I do not recall Trump saying during any point in the campaign that he wanted economic isolationism. What he did say is that all the trade deals done by his predecessors were very poorly negotiated and put the USA at a disadvantage.
He said he would tear them up and negotiate far better deals.
If he succeeds then the USA will still be trading with the same people but on better terms for the USA.
Economic isolationism will occur only if the negotiations break down and both parties batten down the hatches and refuse to compromise.
