Re: i just had a terrible realisation and a moment of clarity and look of cantatonia!
If u watch Yes minister a 1970s british sitcom,u would know that governments change and leaders may change but one thing that never changes is the political structure it gets passed down from one generation to another, the same administration gets passed down, the same bureacracy gets passed down, the same system gets passed down, the same problems and the same issues, the nature of the political game remains the same...in fact u guys might be talking about the same political issues or economical issues that government was talking about 20,30 years ago,but nothing ever gets fixed, the italians governments are probably talking about the same problems they were talking about 50 years ago.....its just a game of merry go round, pass the baton.
now if u watched yes minister,u might think in a democracy, electing a new government or another political party might be a breathe of fresh air, might effect change in the way of doing things, but the truth is in reality effecting change is way harder than you think, human beings are lazy, they are highly resistant to change and there is a huge amount of lethargy in the administration.besides it has taken them many years or more to perfect this well greased oiled governmental political machinery of greed, corruption and self interest, why go about changing something that isnt broken?the next time those in a democracy thinks they are getting a taste of different ideologies and right wingnism vs left wingnism depending on what was the flavour of the decade.....think again, both ur political parties could just be engaging in samba de janeiro, soixante neuf, balls on chin 69 relationship all along.
