PAP has been going FT first for decades now. Singaporeans voted PAP very strongly last election. Good chunk of popular vote some more.
You think PAP is stupid to go against what they people voted for and want?
Two of my FT new citizen neighbours who have enjoyed Singapore's hospitality have uprooted their families and went to Australia. They were from India originally. They have been in SG for abt 10years, benefited from capital gains and cashed in their CPF. They each have sons and didnt want them to do NS. So they gave up their SG citizenship and have gone to Australia

As a proud PAP supporter since 7th Dec 2016 i vehemently refute your statement of PAP not thinking of singaporeans first
1. Sinkies will be the first in line to suffer and be axed from jobs when a recession is looming or in full swing
2. Sinkies politicians (esp from the PAP) will be the first to leave this country with all their wealth when shit hits the fan (i.e. a war, natural disaster and so on)
3. Sinkies will also be the first ones to suffer when point 2 comes into being, foreigners are excluded from point 2 as they will be allowed to leave but only after Sinkie politicians left first
4. Sinkies will be the first line of defense in any shooting war, that's right Sinkies NSmen will be the first responders (aka cannon fodder)
I can think of more to come, hence pray tell why did you said that there is no Sinkie First policy in place when it is apparent to all??

[FONT=&]SINGAPORE — Mr Tan Jee Say, former presidential candidate, has announced the formation of a new political party, Singaporeans First, which pledges to put "Singaporeans at the heart of the nation".

Yes, we must let Singaporeans know that a vote for the pap is a vote for foreigners first. A vote for pap is also a vote for scholarship for a foreign child. If he votes for pap, next time dont complain if his son's job is given to a foreigner. The situation is bad now, but if Singaporeans continue to vote for the pap, the situation will get worse.
So vote for Singaporeans, vote out the pap
