Woman found dead at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal allegedly murdered

The body of a 54-year-old woman was found in a drain at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal today (Nov 25).
Police alerted Stomp citizen website to the incident at around 1.30pm.
An area near Carpark B at the terminal was cordoned off and Police officers can be seen nearby.
Said a Police spokesperson with regards to the incident: "Police received a call on 25 Nov 2016 at 9.44am requesting for assistance at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, a 54-year-old woman was found lying motionless in a drain at the said location."
The spokesman added that the Police has classified the case as murder and investigations are ongoing.
