The Satan 2, which is about 2,000 times as powerful as the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagaski in 1945, can now become a strong counter-argument every time the U.S. considers using force against Russia.

Since U.S.-Russia talks on Syria crumbled apart recently, Russia has pulled out of a nuclear nonproliferation agreement it signed with the U.S. last century.
Russia has recently deployed its nuclear-capable missiles straight to its border with the West and stationed them in Kaliningrad. Shortly afterwards, the Russian government threatened “painful” actions against the U.S. if it imposes new sanctions on Russia over Syria.
Moreover, Russia’s recent largest civil defense drills since the Cold War era involving 40 million Russians doesn’t exactly make us optimistic about a peaceful no-war future.
Russia’s state-run media has also been ramping up its pro-war, anti-Western rhetoric, as if preparing Russians for something big.
In his recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Lev Gudkov, head of the Russian polling group Levada-Center, said “most people believe that the Third World War has begun, but right now we are still in the cold phase of the war, which may or may not turn into a hot war.”
What better way to prepare your people for a war than to tell them that you’re already at war and point with your index finger at the enemy?
US is not safe and protected from Russia after all
So how will Putin play his winning card? The Russian President knows that the U.S. is acting overly cautious in Syria, which is why he constantly tests how cool-headed America can really be.
Which is why Russia recently installed a new missile defense battery in Syria, giving America little to no options as to how to intervene without triggering a direct military confrontation between Russia and American soldiers.
The thing about the U.S. is that it has long been playing with its ‘mutually assured destruction’ plan (meaning: not using its nuclear weapons before the enemy does, and having a powerful nuclear arsenal that would counter the enemy in case of nuclear war).
But can the U.S. really deter a nuclear attack from Russia if Putin uses the new, radar-invisible Satan 2 nuclear missiles?
And what’s up with this whole ‘save our entire population from nuclear attack’ thing? Russian officials recently declared they now have nuclear bunkers capable of holding 12 million people to shelter them from a nuclear attack.
In fact, sources cited by RIA Novosti insist that Russia is currently developing a plan to shelter 100% of Russia’s population from a nuclear attack. So what is it? ‘Save ours, wipe out all others’? Has Putin gone completely mad?
