冯天薇离开国家队仍可参加国际赛

（联合早报网讯）我国乒坛一姐冯天薇虽然将离开我国国家乒乓球队，但她无需终止球员生涯，仍然可以参加国际赛。

新加坡乒乓总会今晚发出文告宣布，冯天薇到东京奥运会时将已34岁，因此无法融入乒总目前推行的振兴计划。对此，冯天薇随后也在面簿上回应说，她“不会离开国际赛场”。

不过，乒总会长李玉云后来在答复《联合早报》的询问时却表示，冯天薇如果能够取得参赛资格的话，乒总不会阻止她代表新加坡参加国际乒乓球总会的世界巡回赛与其他比赛。

李玉云还说，冯天薇未来能否参加大型运动会，将由高水平团队与技术团队去决定。

冯天薇今晚在面簿发表“来自天薇的回应”说：“大家晚上好，相信大家看了今天的报道，我想我会继续参加国际比赛的，只是方式会有一些改变，几天后我会跟大家和媒体朋友们公布今后发展规划和参赛情况，谢谢大家的关注，让朋友们担心了，请放心我不会离开国际赛场的！”
