That which you say is a good sign but again you twist it to support your vile rhetoric. When 2 or 3 Indians are working the others are supposed to be resting because their menial work is exhausting and tiring. The fact that instead of resting, some of them watch the progress of the work is something to be lauded instead of criticised. Also be thankful that because of the efficient Government that we have you get to travel. If the Government were as bad as you make it out to be, then not only would travel be beyond your budget, the leaves along other countries' roadside would be swept and kept clean by Singaporeans.
Stop being so ungrateful if you are Singaporean, you are affecting lots of others here who are basically simple minded people who were initially fairly satisfied until you atarted posting your trash.

LKY put him in power. But GCT was PM then. GCT had no courage to veto LKY's choice.
But despite LKY's and GCT's fault, the real tragedy is that LHL lacks compassion and care for the poor, aged, sick and disadvantaged.
We can fault LKY and GCT for their poor judgement of LHL. But, to me, the real scoundrel is LHL. He is in a position to make life easier for these poor Singaporeans. But he fails SG badly
LHL is simply basking in his father's past glory. He himself has achieved NOTHING during his term as PM, all that can be remembered under his leadership is the MOTHER of ALL GOOF-UPs. Everything that can break down in Singapore will break down and with greater frequency with each year.

Many Singaporeans are blind and think that SG was built by LHL's pap. LHL is a destroyer of SG, not builder. Instead of getting glory, LHL deserves brickbats and curses from Singaporeans.

He will ask you ," Are you going to jog or cycle on the grass patch ? Then why do I make the lanes for ? What is your problem ? "

LHL is so stupid. Why did he even bother to blow away the leaves? Just leave them where they are. The leaves are sinkies' problem, not the PAP. Since the PAP didn't erect ERP gantries over the jogging and bicycle lanes to collect taxes for their maintenance, how could PAP be responsible for the leaves?
If daft & humji sinkies can't even solve a simple problem of fallen leaves, this country is definitely doomed!
LHL's job is to solve SG's problems, not to sweep problems aside as these problems will come back.

In NZ road work sites usually have about 8 people sitting around while one works. Same in Australia.
To add insult to injury they're all guaranteed a minimum wage way beyond what they deserve for the amount of work they do.
same in the u.s. in fact, american roadside workers are now so dependent on tractors, backhoes, bulldozers, machines that only one worker will operate the construction vehicle or machine while others just mill around waiting for the machine to finish its work. they will spend their time talking, texting, and toying with the blueprints.
and "the milling around doing jackshit at a workside" started way back in the 19th century.
