Chitchat LHL's Problem Solving Strategy

I went jogging at ECP this morning. The jogging and bicycle lanes were littered with dry leaves. The cleaners came and, using blowers, blew the leaves on to grass patches. The lanes became clean. But the cleaners didnt solve the problem as the leaves were left by the side of the lanes on the grass.

This reminds me of LHL. His problem solving is just like the cleaners - blow away the problem but didnt solve the problem The problem is still festering on the side.

His talk to SIT students is a good example. He refuses to admit that SG has a problem but instead insists that he is on the right track with the right strategies and SG's economy is fundamentally ok. Who is LHL trying to bluff? LHL is blowing the leaves from the lane onto the grass. When the wind comes later in the day, it is going to blow the leaves from the grass onto the lane. The problem is still there

i believe the leaves is left to decompose and degrade naturally back into the ground as fertiliser or compost.

Perhaps. But when the wind comes this afternoon, the leaves will be blown back to the lanes again

I think the more likely reason is that NParks and the contractors want to give us a false impression that the jogging lane and cycling lane has been swept clean.

You should be thankful that there is an ECP and that it is well organised for us citizens to use and enjoy. This shows that Singapore is prospering under the present Government. You and your kind should stop bad mouthing the Government and stop biting the hand that feeds you, whether you are a Singaporean or a foreigner. In other words, stop your lies.

He is into rallying the people and asking for support in difficult times.

SINGAPORE: The country is going through difficult economic conditions, facing flat export markets at a time of domestic restructuring, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in a dialogue session on Monday (Oct 24).

But he expressed confidence that Singapore is on the right track: “We are feeling the pains of restructuring, but not yet seeing the dividends of our hard work. But we are pursuing all the right strategies, and I am confident that given time these strategies will work for us.”

The Prime Minister, who was addressing students from the Singapore Institute for Technology (SIT), also urged young Singaporeans to be resilient, and to take up the mantle of charting Singapore’s future.

I also think they should tie their salaries to the country's performance, not everything is 100% correct here but it is nothing like what this devious TS is saying all the time.

There is no need to be thankful to a govt who is doing a job that they should be doing, or else they will be thrown off from the parliamentary seat.

The govt should be grateful that we are assessing its weakness at the moment.

So just to confirm your reasoning, if the Government meets your expectations, it is their job and you take it for granted but if they dont measure up to what you want then curse, swear and abuse them?

salary; who convinced the 70% stoopigs that he n his followers can uphold
and maintain the economy with great foresight and able to smell a crisis
from another planet, etc........???

Not only does the pap pays itself obscene salaries, the pap is the only party who lets in 25% (1million) unqualified foreigners and gives away SG citizenship to bad foreigners. That's crime against Singaporeans.

Yes, SG was not built by LHL, TCH, CCS, TCJ or any of the present pap leaders. Why shd we be thankful to them? In fact we shd prosecute them for given away SG citizenship freely and and indiscriminately.
