Woman who ran over dog confirmed to be neither an agent nor employee of Huttons Asia
As it turns out (as it often does), the internet hivemind reacted too quickly and mistakenly launched a collective attack on the wrong party.
PSA: The nation's most hated lady right now does NOT work for Huttons Asia, as widely believed.
Too late though — hundreds including pimps, bapoks and okts from SBF, EDMW.XYZ, Tremetrius, sgfuck and Asiaone forum already jumped on the bandwagon of hate and dragged down the name of an innocent real estate group.
Both Animal Lovers League and Huttons Asia have come out to confirm that the driver who ran over Sayang the dog is not an agent or employee of Huttons.
In fact, the identified owner of the offending black Honda hatchback lodged a police report explicitly stating that she was not the driver of the vehicle at the time.
In a separate police report, the "F*** you, it's only a dog" lady has confessed to the crime — though it's unclear who exactly it was.

Update regarding Sayang's case:
In all fairness, we, from ALL, after meeting with personnel from Huttons Management Team to understand this issue,
have come to understand that there were 2 police reports lodged in relation to this case;
one by the owner of the vehicle stating to the police that she was not the driver of the vehicle at the material time.
The second report was lodged by another lady, admitting to being the driver of the said vehicle at the material time.
We have been informed that this said driver is not an agent or employee of Huttons.
We are oblivious to the contents of the two reports and let's all wait for the outcome of the police investigations.
You gotta give props to Huttons Asia too — they've kept a calm head throughout all the 1-star ratings and accusatory posts thrown on their Facebook page.
They assured that they don't condone actions against animals "as this is not in-line with our corporate values".
"Huttons values your feedback and will continue to play our part as a responsible Corporate Citizen of this Community,"
they wrote. No anger at all over the multiple false complaints now embedded by the hundreds on their Facebook page.
