Serious Economy booming lah! CapitaLand increases rent at IMM, Tampines Mall, Bt Panjang

SINGAPORE — CapitaLand Mall Trust (CMT) on Friday (Oct 21) reported a 5.5 per cent increase in net property income in the third quarter, as revenue was boosted by contributions from Bedok Mall and higher rental takings at IMM Building in Jurong, Tampines Mall and Bukit Panjang Plaza after asset enhancement initiatives, as well as higher occupancy at Clarke Quay.

For the three months ended Sept 30, CMT achieved net property income of S$119.5 million, up from S$113.3 million in the year-ago period. Gross revenue rose 4.9 per cent to S$169.7 million during the quarter, the trust manager said.

even in times of downturn,reits continue to do very well,squeezing shopkeepers and sinkies balls tighter and tighter like a anaconda.

One in the west, one in the east, and the other in between.

This shows shops are still doing well with consumers spending to keep S'pore retail landlords happy.

Time to increase my holding in CapitaLand.

ya right..! these management at helm of Capitaland just want to enrich themselves with fat pay packet, you think they really bothered with shareholder's money. their main motive is for themselves, no one but themselves. maybe secondary, then can talk about investors' money. literally, it's just like mumbling for king and country everyday but within themselves, they know they themselves come first.
