Apparently the Zika outbreak is at the Sims Urban Oasis new condo site owned by developer Guocoland at 60 Sims Avenue. Guocoland is owned by the Hong Leong Group and the Kwek family. For forever reason, the reporting of the outbreak seems to have been very delayed and preventative measures or penalties were not taken and enforced on this developer. It turns out the Kweks have a history of installing PAP MIWs on their board of directors. I wonder if this has played a part in the suppressing of the information on the outbreak, the delays in notifying the neighbourhood, and in the apparent lack of penalties and even a rudimentary investigation by NEA and MOH.
Listed on their BOD includes such PAP luminaries as Abdullah Tarmugi, former MP, Speaker of the house, and ............coincidentally ex Minister of the Environment. And also Moses Lee, former Perm Sec for Ministry of Labour and wait .........also former perm sec for Ministry of Health, as well as former commissioner of the Inland revenue service. Don't forget on the board is also Timothy Teo, former director of sovereign wealth fund GIC.
With so many ex PAP insiders, the question is did any of them run interference for Guocoland to keep the outbreak under wraps? It cannot be possible that their workers are falling ill by the dozens and then were diagnosed with Zika by the doctors and this fact was not disclosed to the public and the WHO. Did Guocoland ask their PAP directors earning big fat director fees to put pressure on MOH and NEA to keep this thing under wraps? Until it got so big that the govt had not choice but to notify WHO and CDC and then break the news to the world and the local sinkies? Someone should ask all these ex PAP ministers and perm sec who are still being paid by the public in the form of pensions and what not, exactly what was their involvement, what they knew and when they knew it.
