I go to the barber every month & I get a haircut whenever I'm visiting Batam, Thailand, & JB.

In Batam the barber is only Rp25,000. That's about $2.70. I just pay Rp30,000 & let him keep the change.
In LOS the barbers charge 70 baht. While in Thailand I will take the oppurtunity to do a dental cleanup for 400baht($16)

When I go to Batam I use a voucher for the ferry ticket which costs Rp300,000 for a 2 way ticket.

Since secondary school days in the 70s till now, I only cut my hair at Sri Dewa or Sri Nada.

In Canada, I only cut my hair when my wife goes to a Malaysian couple who runs a hairdressing salon downtown Toronto. For the price they charge my wife, I get a haircut thrown in for "free."

Cheers!

[h=1]BALDING FRENCH PRESIDENT HOLLANDE SPENDS $132,000 ON HIS HAIR EACH YEAR[/h]Vive la France!
BY

JULY 14, 2016 10:03 AM

By Carl Court/Getty Images.

Hardly anyone likes FrenchPresident Francois Hollande. He’s faced protests in the streets over his policies and challenges to his re-election from within his own administration.

Last week, his disapproval ratingdipped to 90 percent among French voters.

But one man must be very grateful for the socialist leader, and his name is Olivier B.

How could Olivier B, a hairstylist by trade, not feel affection for a man who’s been paying him nearly €10,000, or about $11,000, of French taxpayer money each month since he took office in 2012?

It is not as though there is a tremendous amount of work to be done on Hollande’s fully receded hairline, with its stick-straight, easily-tamable short crop of soft-looking strands. But Olivier B has made work out of it, nonetheless.

That, apparently, is worth $132,000 a year, more than European parliament members make, and just about as much as French government ministers pull in.

The average French person, by contrast, earns close to $41,000 a year, according to the O.E.C.D., which is less than what Olivier B makes in four months by needlessly combing the head of a head of state.

But the French government would like us to understand just how difficult a task this actually is.

Agriculture Minister Stephane Le Foll told the weekly French satirical newspaper that broke the hair news, Le Canard Enchaîné, that the salary is a reasonable one.

“Everyone gets haircuts,” he said. “This hairdresser had to abandon his salon and he’s on tap 24 hours a day.”

He has to travel with Hollande on the bulk of his foreign trips—and, let’s face it, who would want to do that—and is so overworked that he “missed the births of his children.”

Never mind that he is also given a housing allowance and other family benefits, according to The Guardian: poor Olivier B never found a suitable replacement for himself at his own salon, making Hollande his only client and sole source of income.

Needless to say, whatever sympathy this was meant to engender among the French did not stick.

A tide of rage and Internet memes has swept across the nation, in a movement dubbed “CoiffeurGate.”

That Hollande, a socialist, had called himself “Mr. Normal” during a campaign in which he pledged to rein in the excesses of former French PresidentNicolas Sarkozy, only revved up the CoiffeurGate masses, inspiring a host of imaginary Hollande hairstyles perhaps more worthy of Olivier B’s fees.

I used to go to barbers that were under the Sri Dewa franchise in Rangoon Road. They eventually set up their own business across the street. They eventually moved to Race Course Road but now many of them have passed away.

Although there 4 barbers I usually had to wait because they were popular.
I haven't had a haircut in Spore in years. It's more convenient to have them overseas because there are usually no queues.

Is there any medical way to make hair stop grow ? Sometime after a nice haircut I want my hair to stay this length forever.

It's not about making your hair stop growing; it's about making your hair stop ageing. So if there is a medical way to stop your hair from growing, there will be a medical way to stop you from ageing.

I believe there is but is not feasible. Maybe needs a scalp surgery .however this would mean need to botak first unless surgeon willing to perform it with the current nice hair we have.

The same technology can be used to keep a slim waist permanently slim.

Should be different lor. Scalp is a layer of tissue whereas slim waist is more complex.
Actually those rich botak can consider to go for a.permament wig sewed to their scalp instead of wearing wig.
