Serious Why did MAS and state-controlled media delay announcing/reporting of seizure of....??

MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) delayed its announcement until today that corrupt money connected with Najib had been seized. The amount forfeited was a paltry 175 million USD when compared to the billions of USD that flowed through Sinkie banks since the establishment of 1MDB.

Separately the state-controlled press, The Straits Times, only reported today, July 21, 2016 that the US Justice Department had filed papers to seize about 1.4 billion USD of fraudulent funds and properties in connection with its probe into 1MDB.

Why did the above 2 entities delay their announcement/reporting? Is it because they were told to hold off till your Chief Natural Aristocrat a/k/a Prime Ministar and Corrupt Najib had signed the accord to set up the KL-Sinkie high speed rail?

maybe the amount was actually $500 million USD. they negotiate with Najib, and agree to sacrifice $175 million USD to the US govt to keep them happy and the rest quietly ship back to Najib. In exchange, he sign the high speed rail agreement. They should have make him sign a new water treaty too.

Of course they did . One has to be considerate to a neighbor. Granted , we know what Najib is. But we still need to do business with them. it's not our money. let the Malaysians lynch him.

And more than $1 billion of our money via Temasek will be used to fatten the bank accounts of PAP elites like Desmond Quek with a super generous takeover offer. SMRT CEO and his executives screwed up, they get rewarded with a Temasek bailout, boosting the share price and benefitting the options held by the CEO and his crew.
