Leong was found guilty and sentenced to death on 19 May 2006. He appealed, but the appeals court ruled against him in September 2006. A second attempt to have his appeal re-heard was also unsuccessful. He then appealed to President S. R. Nathan for clemency in November 2007 but this was also rejected. Leong was hanged on 30 November 2007.

If pappies are really serious about eradicating killings for whatever reasons in sinkie land, all killers unless acting in justifiable self defence, should face the hangman and let justice be served. I find lighthouse church Rony Tan more deceitful, wicked and dangerous than Kong Hee. Kong Hee preaches prosperity gosepel, those gong kias squeezing their stomachs to donating large part of their salaries or sold their HDB pigeon holes to donate to him were/are doing so willingly and out of a clearer mind. Rony Tan are preying on the people in their moments of weakness from mild problems of having extra 'wisdom' tooth, bleeding wound to very critical life threatening health problems (cancer) or personal problems (marriage break up). Under these circumstances, they do not have a clear mind and Rony Tan exploited them. And Rony Tan is not preaching Jesus's love and compassion but hatreds.

Not all who go to church are born again Christians. There are some who go there for other motives.

I doubt Leslie Khoo himself is a convert. He may have good intentions, but he is never transformed.
