Chitchat Cronies v. Porlumpars: Who are the most successful ones?

Frankly I don't know the distinguishing characteristics of LHL cronies from porlumpars? Or are cronies and porlumpars one and the same?

And who are the most successful ones? The ones that come to mind are:

Liew Mun Leung, former CEO of CapitaLand
Chua Tian Poh
Ong Ye Kung

Each of the above own multiple landed properties and in the case of Liew, he owned a Class-A bungalow that was rented out for about 30,000 SGD monthly.

Liew Mun Leong holds the record for biggest bonus of a public listed company in Singapore - $20.52 million in 20007. Its major shareholder is Temasek. Unlike Capitaland which is listed, Temasek is not and therefore no requirement to disclose salary of bonus. This guy treats Ho Ching's email as godsend and will circulate it all over as though it was the gospel.

Porlumparing is truly an art form honed to a high degree of skill by the elites in Sinkeepoo. Some of those in the ruling party like the chief mudderfarker in NTUC would have earned a doctorate in the subject. We have the best porlumpars in the world - another first for Sinkeepoo. Cronies by definition means close friend of someone with long standing.
So cronies will all be more successful.
Porlumpar has slimmer chance for success as that person may not have the mood for him to por.

Conclusion : to be most successful need to be a crony and same time Porlumpar .but make sure por at the right time.
