By now we have heard about the 2 Singapore girls waiting to go to University laughing their heads off for shoplifting in Bangkok. The shoplifting is one part of the story. The other one is how the entire family including their Facebook accounts, family photos, friends including details including schools attended have been exposed right across the net.
We talking about father, mother, 2 younger brothers.

Seriously why do people put their personal details and then fail to secure access.

Not such FB, they have it on other apps as well.

If Mark offers 5% Facebook shares to Ho Ching, three and a half million Sinkie citizens will be ordered to sign up accounts with their IC numbers.

Yes. Lots of people have no idea how to do the settings. I am surprised even the young ones don't know. When FB first went online, it was purposely designed to confuse people until the US authorities stepped in made them create a more comprehensive settings. FB thought they can get away with it with their terms and conditions.

Both husband and wife have been making trips to the West Coast for the last few years persuading the likes of Larry and Mark to come over and setup their innovation labs here. I am sure as part of the deal Singaporeans will be persuaded to do things they would not.

Facebook is old school. Fewer people under 20 are using that platform compared to other newer social networks. They probably the typical bible thumping, god fearing upper middle class sinkie family. :rolleyes:
