So they starve themselves for the whole day to let them understand what hunger is and have a feel for those who dun have food to eat.

Then they go eat when the sun goes down.

Why those starving muslim never ask the question on why do some parts of the world , they dun have food to eat while some parts of the world has too much to eat. this question will reveal much on the on-goings of the world than just with a surface view of people has no food to eat and feeling hungry.

That was like thousands of years ago.. and i guess it is pretty outdated..

Yes, i do agree that being hungry is uncomfortable but based on the current world system. Hunger can be eradicated. It is only those greedy politicians and leaders causes the hunger in some parts of the world. Maybe they should have festival of giving and focus on not being selfish and greedy.. rather than starving themselves the whole day.

Food consumption level is the highest during the month of Ramadan as compared to other months.

So actually Ramandan promotes gluttony than letting them think about the poor and hungry.

With less than 10 bucks zakat they have to pay only once per year, income redristibution to the poor is remotely possible or hardly achievable.
