I always say that when you, as a sinkie citizen, don't understand a particular PAP policy, just follow the money. The PAP being the greedy bastards they are, do nothing without an eye as to how it can benefit them.

eg. The bloody island already so crowded, Why want to let in 6.9 million and maybe even 10 million people? Follow the money:
-More money for govt to collect in levies for FTs
-More money to be made by PAP cronies running workers dorms, and by food companies supplying to them, also run by PAP cronies
-More profit for SMRT as ridership increases which goes to the bonus of PAP cronies like ex SAF Scholars Desmond Quack and the cronies he brought over from RSAF
- More money to be made by charging for water and electricity for all these 3 million extra FTs which goes to the utilities companies again, run by PAP cronies.

Same if you follow education policies vis a vis higher learning, health policies, etc.

I am benefitting from cheap foreign labour. That has allowed my company's profits to remain high and maintain some of the useless sinkie workers. If not for the foreigners, some of these sinkies would have no jobs.

If similar case had been found in these two countries, the two scumheads would have to resign and face criminal prosecution.
