Singapore is a rubbish country indeed. No cultural export, no creativy, no contribution, no competition. Even their olympic and football team rely on foreign talents.

Look at Japan, S.Korea. They don't need any bullshit dictator or curtailing civil liberties (public protests, media control) and they are clearly Asia's no.1 and no.2 greatest
countries.

Number world class sportsmen is not dependent on political structures.

It more dependent on population and the interests to keep fit and healthy.

Both countries have more people and bigger lands to practise sports.

Bad excuse. Look at Uruguay and Jamaica , they have onl 3million people but had signficant gold medal. Uraguay is also a 2x world cup champion in football
Asia ( AFC ) champion Japan was 4 times and S.Korea 2 times.

Singaporeans have no talents.


What about movies, music, celebrity ? nobody in Asia heard of them while Hong Kong Cantonese music, movies have historically dominated East Asia and Southeast Asia during the 80's and early 90's. Singaporeans have nothing much to offer that's why despite it's economic success it had always been nothing special to non-Singaporeans.
