Manpower Minister Lim Swee Say, who attended the opening ceremony, praised StanChart for its "strong Singaporean core".

He noted that the bank's local arm employs a total of 1,400 PMETs (professional, managerial, executive and technical) workers, of which more than 90 per cent are locals.

"It is also worth noting that the regional and international arm actually employs more local PMETs than the local arm - over 3,500 local PMETs in the international arm versus over 1,000 local PMETs in the local arm."

'Local' to this clown probably means any physical bodies that is in SG, i.e., locally here. It can be Sinkie, pinky, Ahnehs, Ahmats, amdks, etc, not necessary means citizens.

Pappies do not mean that locals are taken to refer exclusively to the natives, who are true sons of the soil, born and raised in the island. When referring to locals, the pappies mean natives and all the foreign imported shits.

Anyone with half a brain knows that foreign imported shits are not true natives of the island. They are in the island to squat while waiting for good time to come to their home land. The island is not their real homeland but a land for squatting to enjoy the good life, safety and education. Should the island become the target of terrorism, they would be the first to flee to balek kampong to their homeland.
