The only problem is this type of stuff can happen not just to durians. Even when you order food in restaurants the people commit such acts without any particular reason other than just to be mean.

Story going around in the online world is that it is run by 4 Indonesians and the guy was following one of those folklore to get customers to come back. It does not seem like spitting out of disgust but calm and ritualistic. Most workers got better things to do tend bend over and spit in such a regular manner. I was cautious when the food were prepared by Indian or PRCs in hawker, restaurant. Goodwood hotel is one incident about food poisoning. I was there with friend in early March, having lunch at Goodwood and noticed the staffs were mostly pinoy. The rest became history.
