"Doctors are attending to him now," said the statement.

In a Facebook post, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said: “Hope Swee Keat will be alright - he is a valuable member of my team.”

He said that Mr Heng had suddenly collapsed at the weekly meeting.*The three doctors in Cabinet attended to him immediately, and an ambulance was called. He was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, added Mr Lee.*

Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin said: "Please keep*Heng Swee Keat*in our prayers."

Senior Minister of State for Transport Josephine Teo wrote on Facebook: "Most dismayed to hear about Heng Swee Keat's stroke and hope he will make a full recovery. Please pray for him, for Hwee Nee and all at home."

Parliamentary Secretary for Home Affairs Amrin Amin said: "Praying for Minister Heng Swee Keat's speedy recovery."

Mr Heng, 54, is a MP for Tampines GRC. He was first elected there in 2011.

He was Minister of Education until last September, when he was made Finance Minister after the 2015 general election.

Environment and Water Resources Minister Masagos Zulkifli, fellow MP for*Tampines GRC,*said: *"Let's pray for his recovery and for his family.*In the meantime, our GRC team Of myself, Baey Yam Keng, Desmond Choo and Cheng Li Hui will take care of Tampines GRC residents while Swee Keat recovers."

Three Doctors in Cabinet? But they must be out of practice after son long.

Too much of a good life!!!!

Probably too many BAD news (really bad) circulating within the cabinet, unknown to the ordinary PAP MPs and the general public, Mr Heng (let him rest) who is a good Catholic and who knows that Jesus is returning soon could not take the pressure, my own guess is that GIC plus Temasick both bankrupted liao. (watch the mass resignation of staff of both organisations), now the sharp 30% must watch the faces of the other PAP ministers, especially those who still have some conscious.

No one is irreplaceable.
Since I am running a multi multi billion dollar country base on GDP, no one is irreplaceable. When one is down, the others will pick up the slack. No time for sadness and sentimentism.

HENG has been passed his best. He is considered done. We will look for Tharman to take over him.
