　　原标题：国防部新闻发言人杨宇军就美国军舰进入中国南沙群岛有关岛礁邻近海域发表谈话 　　

　　5月10日，美国海军“劳伦斯”号驱逐舰未经中国政府允许，非法进入中国南沙群岛有关岛礁邻近海域。中国军队当即采取应对行动，海军航空兵2架歼-11战斗机、1架运-8警戒机紧急升空，赴相关海域巡逻警戒，“广州”号导弹驱逐舰、“绵阳”号导弹护卫舰和“临汾”号护卫舰迅即对美军舰进行识别查证，并予以警告驱离。

　　美军舰机未经允许非法进入中国南沙岛礁邻近海域是严重的挑衅行为，中方此前已多次指出其危害性，并予以严正警告。但美方一意孤行，再次派军舰进入挑衅。我们不禁要问，美方究竟要在推动南海军事化的道路上走多远？究竟要在破坏南海和平稳定的道路上走多远？

　　美军舰机的挑衅活动，暴露了美方妄图搞乱地区局势，从中渔利的用心，再次证明了中方在南沙有关岛礁进行防御设施的建设完全合理，很有必要。

　　需要指出的是，美军舰机进入南沙岛礁邻近海域改变不了中国对南沙群岛及其附近海域拥有主权的事实，美军的挑衅行动是徒劳无益的。中方将根据需要加大海空巡逻力度，加强各项防卫能力建设，坚定捍卫国家主权和安全，坚决维护南海和平稳定。

(CNN)The U.S. Navy on Tuesday sent a guided missile destroyer within 12 miles of a disputed island in the South China Sea where China has built an airstrip -- prompting China to scramble fighter jets and dispatch warships to "expel" the American ship.

"USS William P. Lawrence exercised the right of innocent passage while transiting inside 12 nautical miles of Fiery Cross Reef, a high-tide feature that is occupied by China, but also claimed by the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam," a Pentagon statement said.
"This operation challenged attempts by China, Taiwan, and Vietnam to restrict navigation rights around the features they claim ... contrary to international law," the statement continued.
Under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, 12 nautical miles is considered the limit at which a nation's rule extends off its shores.
The Law of the Sea defines "innocent passage" as a transit in which a ship does not conduct any military, commercial or research activities.

Who will they copy or steal technology from Who is going to buy what they manufacture They hold vast amounts of US$ that will become useless in a conflict.

China is also alienating her weaker neighbours. Nobody likes a bully & these weaker countries will of course band together & form closer ties to countries like the US, Japan,.... & they will be more cautious when dealing with China.

these days are technology economy and even weaker countries (big or small) are on Chinese to manufacture cheap products for them to get their economy going.

Look at Western countries, for example Australia, All angmoh construction companies are relying on cheap Chinese construction equipment and building materials to build a building. Angmoh only supply labour works and are themselves cheap labours.

No Chinese products no work for the angmohs. How else?

No Chinese cheap materials and equipment angmohs construction industries will collapse.

China is an emerging country, a lot of progress in the last half century, but still has a long way to catch up with many countries in the world. China has a lot of potential, that's all! Can China come up with a company as creative as Walt Disney? Or let's say, Hershey Chocolate? Cheapness sells, ONLY to cheapskates. Those who can afford quality don't buy something because it is cheap, but because it is good, and prestigious. In this, lots of rich and well-to-do Chinese would rather pay good money for an Apple iPhone/computer that any other brand, no matter how patriotic they can be.

Don't forget that the they used to make everything in other parts of the world when China was a closed communist country. These countries moved their production into China so that they could make more $$$.

They can easily shift production back to these countries e.g. Batam, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia,..... if the conditions in China are not optimal. In fact some companies are already doing this because labor in China is becoming expensive.

Technology manufacturing required many small supporting engineering firms and those countries you mentioned do not have that kind of engineering to support full scale production. Cheap labours can only goes this far. China has many small engineering firms to support full scale production from design to raw materials to end products.

This is why you see Apple still need Chinese to make for them.

Yes there is plenty of parts that go into an iPhone. Many of these parts are from Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese companies. However if you look at the high tech parts that they are using , very little are from chinese companies. Maybe the chinese companies can do simpler tasks like making the stainless steel cases for the iPhone. earphones, chargers,..etc

Apple is using China mainly for it's cheap labour. The contractor that they use is Foxconn, a Taiwanse company.

For high tech parts like processors, Apple designs the AX series of processors & has companies like Samsung(Korean) and TSMC(Taiwan) manufacture these processors.
They are using optics from companies like Sony. That is why when Japan had an earthquake there were fears of production problems for the iPhone.
