Maybe TISG should get their Leon Perera to ask the lawyer in WP, Miss Sylvia Lim. Mr Murali is a lawyer. It is not for lawyers to decide if their clients are guilty or not. It is as though TISG is saying that doctors should not save bad people.

If you have a conscience, you will choose your client wisely. Murali is all about money. Whoever can pay him big bucks, he takes the job. Never mind if the client is a serial rapist, serial murderer or biggest crook ...as long as he pays big bucks, Murali is in. This is just typical PAP mindset.

Most if not all lawyers are the same. Never ever trust one.

It kind of idealistic to think that your client is innocent. Your job as a lawyer is to protect the right and interest of your client. There nothing wrong or right about this. It just work. Don't take it too personally.

I have a cousin who choose to become a attorney with Civil Service. He was a small fry lawyer in LEE and Lee. I think he finds that it is mundane to work as a lawyer. It's not all glitz and Glamour in real world. You go through the grind. You accept all the shit your supervisor pass it on to you as an intern or freshmen. In the process, you receive all kind bull loads from your client. Justice and equality is just a lingo ( no other meaning ), it's nothing worth mentioning.

After all these, when you become smarter and more experience. Then you can flap your wings and fly if you dare.

That is called professionalism. You do it because it is your job. You are paid to accomplish your objective. I don't like the PAP, but it is their job to remain in power. In this, they are doing it well.

Cheers!

What kind of idiot posting is this.

A lawyer's role is to achieve the best possible outcome for the client. Whether he's guilty or not is a different matter!

not necessary. A lawyer can be charge for perjury, and lose his license, if the high court found him negligent or making a fool of the court system.

Usually a lawyer is warned beforehand not to proceed the case if the court disapproved of the conduct of the lawyer.
