This year, the 2014 Warrior Competition saw 35 teams from 19 countries compete in a display of special operations and counter terrorism tactics.
For the second time in as many years, China took first place at the 6th annual Warrior Competition. The Snow Leopard Unit of the People's Armed Police (PAP) took first place, followed by the Sichuan PAP special force, and the Jordanian Royal Guard took third place. The Xinjiang PAP special force took fourth place. 35 teams from 19 countries participated in the Warrior Competition; among the teams the Snow Leopards beat out were contingents from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, the elite Canadian Special Operations Regiment, and Russian Lynx Special Forces.

Chinese special forces from the People's Armed Policy get ready in 32C heat at the Jordanian Desert.
The Warrior Competition, which the New York Times describes as a "special operations Olympics", is held at the King Abdullah Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC). The facility is one of the most comprehensive special operations and counterterrorism training facilities in the region, including even an Airbus for training., and is staffed by MissionX, a private military contractor manned by ex NATO special operators. Previous champions have included the US Marine Force Recon (2010) and the German GSG9 (2012). This year, the eleven tasks of the Warrior Competition were exercises with operational names like Urban Assault, High Angle Drive By,Three Gun Gauntlet, Operator vs. Operator and King's Challenge. They tested skills in areas like sharpshooting, hand to hand combat, building breaching automotive pursuit and evasion, medical extraction and long distance marching.

One of the most stressful and important tasks in any special operations, as competitively practiced in the 6th Warrior Competition, is evacuating wounded friendly and civilian casualties to medical care.
Since 2010, Chinese delegations have rocketed to the top of international special operations, police and military sniper competitions, benefiting from increased training and better weapons. It is important to note, however, that many top special operations units were not present at this training competition (including notable US and Russian forces presently active on operations) and that the kind of skills tested in the Warrior Competition form only part of special operations and counterterrorism capabilities. Special operations success also comes from a massive amount of preparation, organization, doctrine, intelligence and logistics not on display at the Warrior Competition, including classified capabilities. Yet these kind of competition results, as well as broader increases in general Chinese military, cyber and electronic intelligence capabilities, points to the significant gains Chinese special forces have made in their capabilities in recent years.

Extreme Counterhijacking Measures
One of the most challenging tasks at Warrior Competition, and in real life counterterrorist operations, is to breach a hijacked airliner to simultaneously rescue hostages and neutralize the hijackers in a confined and crowded space. Unfair for Russian & Chinese I think because weapons are provided by Jordan the organizer, getting Russian & Chinese to use weapons of Americans, which they are unfamiliar with, American are enjoying advantage because their usual weapons are used in the competition.

From the end of World War 2 to present, the USA has been involved in more actual conflicts than any other country, not war "games" but real fights! Based on this, the USA has the most seasoned armed forces than any other country in the world at the moment.

These days their abilities are too weak that they suffered unbearable losses everywhere they tried and fled with tail between thir legs.
People with the least trainings and poorest weapons like Vietcong and NK, killed countless GIs in Korean n Vietnam wars. Afghanistan Iraq all defeated USA. Somalia warlord shot all their black hawks down. Formal Yugoslavia used Soviet BUK missile Shotdown USAF so called Stealth F-117.
The Yankees went everywhere and fled from everywhere in defeat, failed all attempts to bully. Fucking embarrassing!
It is due to their POOR TRAINING POOR SKILL POOR COURAGE, EXPENSIVE BUT UESLESS weapons.

USA pulled out of the Vietnam conflict because of dwindling support at home. Many Americans didn't see justification in that involvement and hence they did not support their country in that war. That country view things different from the Soviet Union and China who will bulldoze through without a care for public opinion. That's the difference. No other country in the world provides a much humanitarian foreign aid than the USA. She has her faults, but is still way better than the other two competitors for world supremacy.

Bro, how America fought the war in Iraq was because of lessons learnt from the Vietnam conflict. They did not want another situation with their troops being shot at in a foreign country while the citizens are protesting the war at home - they wanted full support from the entire nation. That was why Iraq was whacked upside down by their shock and awe method of total warfare! The Iraqi forces didn't stand a ghost of a chance for the massive onslaught by the Yanks! They didn't know what hit them! From the street protests to the college campus anti-war movements during the Vietnam War, the American learnt how to deal with the media and the immediate broadcasts at the battlefield frontline and how the home crowd would react to the violent scenes they watched on TV. The Vietnam War was the event that brought those scenes to the homes of the American family. And it changed the world. Today, many nations are learning from the USA in how technology changes societies. Because it happened first in America, then the world follows after that.
