Bukit Batok by-election: SDP's Chee Soon Juan repeats call for retrenchment insurance
Speaking to the media after his party's walkabout on Sunday morning, Dr Chee reiterated his call for retrenched workers to receive a portion of their last drawn salaries, for a period of up to 18 months. Dr Chee also raised the point that Meet-the-People sessions once a week are not enough, as residents have to queue for up to two hours.
Dr Chee added that he will address Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's

A short simple clarification will do. Don't commit the same mistakes that tang Liang hong did by replying to every allegations and follow to their drumbeats. Continue to speak up on national and local issues never mind if pap will address those issues.
