Dead man tells no tales.

But are PK Pillai, Ong Lian Teng, Dominic Puthcheary, Devan Nair, JB Jeyaratnam resting in peace because of their son's prostitution and sleeping with the pap?

In materialistic singapore,they are being practical in their choice.To them,a good job,career,status and monetary benefits are more important than ideals such as basic human rights,democracy,freedom of speech and association,constitutional rights...etc.To them ,it is too much to lose financially or not worth it to go against the corrupt,collusive and nepotistic MIW.To them,it is more profitable to flow with the favourable wind.Everything in materialistic singapore is about profit and loss,everything is about money.

I see your point abt Murtali, OYK, JP, JD and PJ being practical Singaporeans. But, to me, being an honourable man is more important than making money.

The worst kind of man is one who misquotes his dead father and uses his name in vain to self profiteer. And Singaporeans have to be very careful and fight hard that such a man does not lead Singapore.


What does it benefit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul? It's chasing after the wind? What does it matter to LKY if he is glorified by his son but if he has not made peace with his Creator?

What you said described the current pap MPs...they are practical, they are not political leaders like David Marshal, Devan Nair, LKY, GKS, Puthcheary, Pillai, OLT, JBJ who are honourable and believe that serving their country is the high calling.

Murali, OKY, JP are in for their own careers and honour. If they are willing to betray their father's cause, it speaks of a fundamental character flaw.

7 May is the chance for BB residents to tell pap that Singapore is against candidates who have character flaws. Is betraying his father worse that sleeping with another man's wife? Think about that!

If a PAP MP can betray his father, will he honour SG?

Being honourable is worth nothing in materialistic singapore .Most sinkees do not care whether u are honourable or not ? Most sinkees care about whether they are are wealthy or poor ? I see pap MPs selling their souls..

If intangible qualities like honour, integrity, fortitude, etc mean nothing to Singaporeans then we are doomed! That also means that our upbringing and education system have failed.

But I am not surprised that many pap MPs are materialistic and neglect honour as many singaporeans are raised by maids rather than parents. Another flawed pap policy

Lets put it this way. They are all tainted. People like that have poor principles or none at all. They will flip over for a dime. But to the powers they serve an important purpose - they will do the dirty job as the flip is a good indicator of their character. Look at Ong Ye Kung. He was the Executive Secretary of the National Transport Workers Union. When he realised that he could not control the PRC bus drivers, he gave notice of his resignation and left for Keppel. The illegal strike that crippled bus services to some parts of the Island took place one day after he left.

So much for looking after the interest of workers and isn't that what his father and Barisan was supposed to do.

You are absolutely right. The pap has been making use of its MPs to serve its purpose, not serve Singaporeans. Look how the pap used Howe Yoon Chong, Tharman, Hong Hai, etc....OKY, Murtali, JP will like wise be made use of.

By then OKY, Murtali and JP will experience fair retribution and realise too late that their fathers were correct not to sleep with the devil but to fight the pap

I agree with LWL that in her family there is a dishonourable son. I think she wld agree that Murtali, PYK, JP are dishonourable sons too. Often a female has better intuition and has better feelings. Did you notice that LHL, OYK, JP, Murtali, PJ and JD are all males?
