We would like to clarify that Dr. Chee did not seek nor receive permission to include Mr. Chiam’s image in this newsletter. Mr. Chiam has not given his endorsement to any candidate for the upcoming Bukit Batok by-election.

CSJ don't need Chiam or Lina's endorsement. He can win on his own merits. In any case, Chiam and Lina are politicians of the past. Not much help.

If they can patch up, then it will dampen pap intention to exploit the rift between cst and csj.

That's not the PAP, that's the SDPhopelessParty. Could be a disgruntled former SDP member like Jeremy Chen.

But CSJ has been done for, it is a tactical mistake of the SDP for having CSJ's lieutenants attacking David Ong with CSJ playing nice guy not attacking David Ong. PM Lee scored a point here on SDP's hypocrisy. So CSJ now has opened the doors for personal attacks, even Paul Tambyah is rebuted.

This showed the lack of foresight and wisdom on the SDP part for playing the attack card on David Ong when they knew CSJ is vulnerable. Should stay focus on the housing, transportation, jobs, estate improvement, foreign workers, etc issues.

SDP only hope is the voters are not distracted by this CSJ's credibility issue which has largely prevented him from winning.

Looks like PAP hit the bull's eye and hurt SDP quite bad.

Don't worry, all is not lost

First off, Dr Chee must not be evasive about his past, acknowledge his mistakes, and promise a new start

SDP can easily hit back on this hypocrisy point that PAP hit on SDP.

If PAP can give Josephus Tan a second chance, despite the fact that Josephus Tan has done 100 times worst things than CSJ, who has been more violent than CSJ, why can't CSJ be given a second chance? :p

So now PAP is being hypocritical? Their politicians can be ex-gangster while all CSJ did was to run after GCT among other things?





Politics, sigh..

This may backfire on PM Lee and help CSJ to win. Gone are the days you can call a person "liar", "unrepentant" and get away with it.
