Nok Air cancels flights on pilot strike

At least nine flights of Nok Air have been cancelled on Sunday after pilots went on strik
Chief executive officer Patee Sarasin said ten pilots have decided to strike as they are not satisfied with airline’s new policy concerning upgrading standards to meet safety standards set by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
He said some of pilots were disqualified in the process.
Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, president of Airports of Thailand (AOT), told Nation TV on Sunday that 1500 passengers were affected by Nok Air's flights cancellation.
