这对恋人之间没有隔着两个家族的世仇，但却相隔1万2000公里的距离。
他们原本只靠着互联网联系，直到叶俐伶在上个月22日与61岁母亲符丽娟，瞒着父亲与哥哥，悄悄飞到远在东欧的罗马尼亚，寻找住在Vulturesti小镇的亚历山儒。
结果，此行意外引发一场跨国寻人行动，登上新加坡、罗马尼亚以及其他国际媒体的版面。
在现实生活中，两人从前素未谋面，却因为对动漫的共同热忱在网上结缘。
尽管隔着6小时的时差，两人交流频密，彼此都在面簿上认定对方，公开表示他们自2013年11月30日开始正式稳定交往。
他们在面簿上高调晒恩爱。去年10月28日，叶俐伶上载动漫情侣的照片，标签出亚历山儒。她说当天是全国“我爱你”日，甜蜜向对方示爱，感谢他一直陪伴在身边。亚历山儒去年11月30日也在两人交往两周年纪念日当天贴文，附上一连串的爱心。
亚历山儒接受罗马尼亚媒体访问时说，他原本不知道叶俐伶要到罗马尼亚找他，直到一个半月前。她知道父亲不会同意，所以两人悄悄策划。
但母亲也不愿意让女儿独自千里迢迢去到一个人生地不熟的地方，结果竟然就跟着女儿，隐瞒丈夫儿子，一起飞到了罗马尼亚。
亚历山儒还揭露，网恋两年多但当面相处不到两周的他们，甚至已经到了谈婚论嫁的阶段；他们希望在这一两年内结婚，之后移居美国。
双方的家人又有什么话说呢？
女方父亲：
“女儿长大了，迟早会嫁人，只要是她喜欢的，我没什么意见。（如果决定结婚）那一定要带回来给我看，我不会因此反对他们在一起，现在都什么年代了。”
男方父亲：
“孩子们不知道接下来会怎样，但他们相爱，那是最重要的。”
男方祖母：
“我希望我的孙子能娶这个女孩。这看似是禁忌的爱，但我不这么认为。”
就连Vulturesti小镇的镇长格奧尔基（上图黑衣者）都来参一脚，他表示愿意为这对异国恋证婚，但他认为，双方应该先互相了解，毕竟传统习俗以及思想心态上都有差异。
但也有小镇居民不太赞同，认为这段恋情虽美，但在这里生活工作需要耕田打扫，无法想像狮城女能这么做，亚历山儒也不到适婚年龄，两人应该更踏实

Ms Yap was thought to be missing after she and her mother, Madam Foo Li Kheng, 61, left for Romania without informing her father, Mr Yap.
The mother and daughter were uncontactable for more than 10 days, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was helping to search for them.
It turned out that Ms Yap had left for Bucharest on Jan 22 to meet her Romanian boyfriend for the first time, with her mother accompanying her.
Mr Yap has since spoken to his wife on the phone.
Ms Yap and Mr Donea had been in a long-distance relationship for more than two years.
The two got to know each other because of manga, and both their YouTube accounts are updated frequently with manga-related videos and songs.
Ms Yap and her mother are now living with Mr Donea's family in Vulturesti, a village commune in Olt County about 150km from Bucharest, Romania's capital city.
Mr Donea told local media that Ms Yap kept her plans to go to Romania quiet as she thought her father would object.
"She did not want anyone to know she was coming to Romania because she wanted to avoid all the problems," he said.
He added that he hopes to marry Ms Yap in the next one to two years and emigrate to the United States.
Mr Donea's father said: "They don't know what will happen next, but they love each other, that is the most important."
Mr Donea's grandmother also approves of the couple. She hopes her grandson will marry Ms Yap, Shin Min said, quoting local media.
