Just wish to wish ALL forummers here a Happy Lunar New Year!

For me, it is the same old, same old routine every year. Reunion dinner on the eve, this year will be different, going outside to a restaurant. Then on the first day, put on as red as possible, then drop in my parent's home (where some aunts, uncles, and cousins will be gathering), wish everyone there, give ang pows to the unmarried singles, have lunch, eat New Year cakes, chat a little bit, then go and visit in-laws, hopefully drink some beer when the sun sets, go home watch TV, sleep. Second Day, visit some ancient relatives, give ang-pows. Eat some more. Drink some more. Chat some more. Really boring routine.

Next year (have to start planning early) wish to go somewhere to let off firecrackers. That's what make it Chinese New Year!!! Our ancestors after-all, invented gunpowder! Firecracker helps us celebrate that with a bang!

Happy Year of the Monkey to all!

Cheers!
