Based on the information currently available through mass media and social media, with respect, I believe that there is no need to have five officers from the Singapore Police Force to attend at the deceased's school, to apprehend him and to arrest him. It read like the police officers may have acted too harshly.
With respect, I believe that the police officers may not have read the rights to contact his parents and a lawyer, before they speak with the deceased and before they arrest him.
I believe that two police officers is more than sufficient, and that the Principal of that school should have sent a teacher, preferably one who knows the deceased, to accompany the deceased, until the deceased's parents arrive at the school or the police station.

A confession under duress, is inadmissible in Court.

An "interview" does not require five police officers to meet and "arrest" a 14 year old "suspect".
I believe that the police officers probably harassed and threatened the deceased to extract a guilty confession.
Does a reasonable individual believe that none of the five police officers have done nothing unfair or that they would not consider fair if they were on the receiving end.
