During my time, only the top were admitted to RI and yet RI topped many sports.

There were no short cut entry at Sec 1. The Principal Philip Liau did take in some sportsmen who otherwise would have failed to enter the Pre-U classes by the front door.......

RI has always been well known for its scholarship and athletic ability. But for nearly 30 years now, these 2 qualities have resided in different bodies.

Problem with SWH is that he does not believe in Marketing. The reason why Apple succeed is because of Marketing because Apple does not invent any of the parts. They simply design and market.

The student athletes helped RI win lots of trophies, and RI in return allowed these students to brag to their non-RI friends for 4 years about their RI status. After four years, RI simply told them to fuck off. From the article, it is clear that the RI students in the O-level group are the losers of the school, and any teacher assigned to teach them instead of the IP students are probably in the same category. Little wonder nearly all the students did badly for their O-level exams.

Isn't the concept the same for some MPs who got in through the back door in Parliament through a GRC?
