Very difficult for her to maintain a delicate balance between satisfying the 'one china principle' that Beijing and Washington demand and making the pro independence fraction within her party happy. I expect Taiwanese economy to slide further down the slippery path under her govt.

He shot back "what Taiwan province, that's 中华民国 （Republic of China) and she's not a 领导 (leader) she's a president. I was like wow, where did that come from?
