Airline business is also very competitive, and many airlines are losing money. But some how SIA is making money. If a Singapore run company can make money in a very competitive business, NOL should be able to do so too. They got stuck with cashflow issue couple of years back and the French Govt had to bail them out. Heard that there were a lot of friction with the Govt proxy and the owners found a very rich backer.
