Dear all,

I want to know from you if Myanmar is the world pariah state?

This is my observation:

1) Sinkie men go to thailand / philippines / vietnam and batam to look for women and sometimes looking for wives. However, they dont go to Myanmar to look for wives. Is there any reason or Myanmar women are very stink

2) Sinkie love to eat Thai food (Phat thai, Tomyam Kong etc), vietnamese food (pho), Indonesia food (tahu telor) and Pinoy food but nobody here know what is Myanmar food.
is Myanmar food stink?

Myanmar is the new heaven on earth for kicking out evil Islam and it's Muslim terrorists.

The real Pariah are the Muslims and it's stupid Islamic teachings for bringing nothing but destruction to the world. Just look at how many countries that are at war now is Islamic.

The answer will be different depending on the stance one takes on this country.

Her (Myanmar's) recent past is that of a military junta, tight control, with no or little freedoms, isolated from the world, ethnic divisions, supplier of illicit heroin to the world, lots of poverty, quite a bleak place to be. But that is changing. Now, money and investors are sort of rushing in, not wanting to be a late-comer in this country of promising fortune. I suppose if one has no political differences with the people who are in-charge there, it is not a bad place to be in now. I am sure many parts of Myanmar are still untouched by commercialism and unspoilt. Culturally, it is unique and a little "exotic." Honestly, I know next-to-nothing about this country, would like to visit as a tourist if an opportunity arises. I am sure there are places in that country that could still be riddled with troubles, but as a visitor, it is a good idea to find out where they are and avoid going there.

Cheers!

The only Burmese dish I know, is called something like this " Mok Too"....a spicy noodle fried with I powdered chillies or dried ones crushed with pork or was it chicken. Discovered this was it 20 years bak, when there was the only Myanmar Food Stall at High Street Centre, was it 4th or 5th floor, where they used to sell, one of the best Northern Indian Food, Nian etc.. I use to go there & sometimes just eat that "Mok Too"....the rest, I don't know what they are nor the various Myanmar Restaurants or food stalls at basement of Peninsular Plaza, what are the dishes they sell. But I can tell you, one of the Myanamese Food Stall sells one of the spiciest Tom Yam Koon....much spiciest than any I ate in Thailand.

Mynamese ( Burmese) cooking have a kind of strange to my nose smell, very different from Indian Cooking, Vietnamese, Thai or even Filipino cooking....a kind of strange smell....that is not appetising.

Woman....I really don't know...but by sight observation, they are usually very dark, very short.....the Vietnamese or the Thais....are prettier

Myanmese like to drink their coffee super sweet when I had lunch with them, they serve me super sweet coffee too, that's one of the things I remember in my work trip to Yangon many years ago, their coffee is way too sweet for me.

Burmese food smell weird to me. You can go to Peninsula Plaza and smell for yourself.

I think they like to eat some kind of pungent bamboo shoot which smells like urine.

If you get a Burmese wife and she cooks it everyday for you, you might end up murdering her.
