Government agencies recognise letters from unelected and unofficial PAP Branch Chairmen? So now MPS got politicized ? Then no need elections anymore since unelected candidates have same authority as elected MPs.

When Sylvia Lim was NCMP, she said government agencies do not recognise letters written by NCMPs. Even NCMPs are more official than PAP Branch Chairman. NCMPs are officially recognised by Parliament, PAP Branch Chairmen are not.

PAP supporters have been making wild accusations against Low Thia Khiang, claiming he and his Town Council were profiteering from residents.

Now, think about this: if Low and The Workers' Party really did that, why aren't they moving to a swankier and more comfy venue to hold their MPS?

Why do they have to settle for the void deck and having to put up with the sweltering heat and humidity to hold the weekly MPS?

In contrast, take a look at Victor Lye and his gang, comfortably ensconced in their air-conditioned office holding his own MPS under the auspices of the People's Association, despite not having been elected by the people.

As the late American civil rights leader Martin Luther King once said:

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

We urge Singaporeans with a conscience to continue this fight against the tyranny of the majority and unconscionable stupidity of many who choose short term material gains over long term good of the country.

Now is the time to really make your voice count. Join the grassroots movement of the Workers' Party and SDP and make a positive contribution.

To quote King again:

"There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right."

The PAP says that no matter which party you support, we should remain united as Singaporeans. REALLY?

Do you know that after The Workers' Party won the Aljunied Constituency, the PAP deliberately withheld public funds to AHPETC to allow it to engage in public improvement projects?

So do you think the PAP is genuinely concerned about residents or more interested in securing political power?

WP pay their own bills for any WP event and social work thus WP Grassroots can be partisan.

If PAP pay their own bills too, nobody will complain.

PAP election losers are neither PA permanent staff, Civil Servants nor Grassroots veteran, why get to be CCC Chairman or Grassroots Advisors?

Using taxpayers money to keep PAP election losers walking the ground at WP areas is a scandal itself. PAP should have some backbone and stop using taxpayers money to advertise PAP election losers and PAP itself.

All PA Grassroots should work only with MPs of the area since it is a government agency and using taxpayers money.

That's why so many of us were upset when Victor Lye and his team lost by a whisker. They served the people for years without getting paid, while the fully-paid opposition MPs are doing far less work. It really isn't fair. To many of us in the grassroots, it is a huge miscarriage of justice that slackers like Low Thia Khiang and Chen Show Mao can retain their seats in Aljunied GRC.
