I think is infection.
If u have kidney failure or kidney impairment.
Well, your legs would be swollen and come together with high blood pressure.

No worry

It could be just infection, do not be too alarmed!
Anyway, I heard of a recent case, his urine also got blood, doctor suspected bladder cancer, went through all the test, scan, MRI, and further blood test.
Luckily it was not any cancer, just some infection.
So it's good to go through all the test to have peace of mind.

I also heard of another case, a female, the blood in the urine was really reddish blood, not traces, went through all the test, end up the cancer envelop the whole one kidney, so went for operation to remove the affected kidney. Luckily it did not spread to other organs or lymph nodes.

From what little knowledge I know, if stone is in the kidney, you will feel acute pain when it moves down the ureter, and as some stones are spiky, as it moves down the ureter, it will cause friction to the narrow walls of the ureter, thereby there will be blood in the urine. Can't say anything for gall stones.

It is usually due to either kidney stones or urinary tract infection (UTI). If it's UTI, probably a course of antibiotics should take care of it, but if it's kidney stone, little more troublesome as need to fit for scanning to determine.

More serious would be kidney failure......

Do see a doctor to ascertain.

1. Don't Google your symptoms to self diagnose or ask for advice on a message board like this. You'll scare the shit out of yourself pointlessly. And get pretty useless advice.

2. Blood in the urine can be caused by many things - most of them not too serious. These include a urinary tract infection (relatively rare in men), kidney stones or 'sand' in the bladder, prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland), benign prostate hypertrophy (the naturally occurring enlargement of the prostate that all men will experience as they get older) and yes unfortunately prostate or bladder cancer. It could also be a sexually transmitted infection. Only further medical tests will clarify this.

If it is any comfort to you, a few years ago I went to see see the doc because I had a burning sensation in my penis head and had to frequently urinate. A urine test revealed trace amounts of blood (invisible to the naked eye). Of course I checked my symptoms online and convinced myself I had prostate cancer. After a series of tests including a cystoscopy (absolutely no fun - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cystoscopy ), I was diagnosed with benign prostate hypertrophy. In other words I wasn't dying - just getting older. At my request my specialist put me on a 2-year course of Avodart (dutasteride) which gradually shrunk my prostate back to normal size (and had the side benefit of making my hair thicker!)

If you want, the Sexual Health Issues channel on Sammy's Sex Forum has a lot more information about things like this and there's a Doctor Tan (a real doc) who posts there regularly.

Good luck. I know it's scary but in all probability you'll be fine.

UTI. Rare in man, but shit still happens
