It's going to spark a big round of DESPERATE HUMANITY FOOLS to dream of extending hope of survival, based on NAIVE IGNORANT EXPECTIONS.
If there was water, far too little! 70% of Earth surface is water, less than 0.7% on Mars.
There is next to no oxygen on Mars, which atmospheric content is only 1% of Earth! Too thin, and low pressure, our body will bloat like balloon and burst! Contents of atmosphere is 95% Carbon dioxide, 0.17% Oxygen.
Average temperature on Mars is -55 deg C.
To access Mars, a weight ratio exceeding 550 between launch vehicle (+energy) to payload s consumed, and most of it turns to toxic harmful exhaust to pollute our planet.
E.g. Curiosity Mars Rover, 0.9 tons. Rocket Launching Atlas V (350 tons+ fuel 210tons) 560 tons. Generated hundreds of tons of pollutions including space junks.
NASA will need to at least 100X more of such huge squandering of Earth resources, to just establish a tiny foothold there.
